Save Money With Our SIP Trunks

Traditional ISDN lines in the UK come with a fixed monthly rental charge per line, regardless of how much you use them. SIP trunks effectively eliminate these physical lines, replacing them with virtual channels over your internet connection. This immediately cuts down on the recurring cost of line rental.

SIP trunking suits businesses requiring multiple phone lines, from sole traders and small businesses to multinationals with numerous global sites. If you make multiple calls or think your call volume will increase in the future, SIP trunking could offer a number of benefits for your business.

Traditional phone lines can be costly, especially if your company has multiple unused lines. Businesses also have to cover hardware and maintenance costs. Our SIP trunking is charged on a per-channel basis, e.g. based on the maximum number of concurrent calls you expect to make.

Our packages with inclusive minutes to UK landlines (01/02/03 numbers) and mobiles for a fixed monthly fee starting at £10 per channel.

What is SIP Trunking?

SIP (Session Initiated Protocol) trunking is a service that connects an IP PBX (Private Branch Exchange – telephone system) system to both the internet and the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network), enabling VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) calls to reach any phone number—landline or mobile—anywhere in the world.

In other words, SIP is the protocol that enables VoIP to occur, and SIP trunking is how PBX systems use SIP to connect to the PSTN. Without SIP trunks, a PBX might be able to handle internal VoIP calls within the same network, but it couldn’t make or receive calls to external traditional phone numbers.
